External Services

For the plugin’s functionality, it’s critical:
1. This plugin connects to TheChatPress external API to generate a unique configuration and retrieve the chat widget snippet for your site.
2. The plugin fetches and loads an external JavaScript file from TheChatPress servers to display the chat widget with the account configuration.

The external TheChatPress service does not receive any sensitive data from WordPress. The sole purpose of integrating with TheChatPress is to create the account, provide the widget code, and supply the API that the widget uses.
