Manage Quotes
This plugin allows you to organize a collection of famous quotes and phrases, with the ability to sort and tag them according to your criteria, and also update author data to show when searches filtered by a specific author are performed.
You can display all citations on a page (or post) and search for them by author, class, or topic. In addition, you can place a random quote in your template or sidebar (widget) that will change when you refresh the page.
When you install, the plugin will create some new tables in your database to save the data of: quotes, authors, classes and themes. Both classes and themes can be of your choice.
Quotes can be displayed as:
- A random quote anywhere on your blog using the shortcode [randomfrase]
- In the sidebar using the “VR-frases” widget.
- On a page that shows all the citations, and allows you to filter them by author, subject, etc.
Through the control panel you can add new quotes, authors, classes, and topics, and edit or delete them. You can use various shortcodes to display the stored information: quotes, authors, classes, and topics.
