1. The plugin user can not do this service on their own servers. The plugin is free to use and a website owner can set manual memberships and use all of the features of the plugin. It is serviceware creating functionality to charge for subscriptions and memberships to a website owner’s website.
2. For setting up billing/subscriptions the website owner is required to open a merchant account through our company, American Bancard DBA Touchsuite
3. The website owner is required to enter an authorization/activation code as we are only allowing 1 plugin install per website as it is free to use.
4. We use NMI as the payment gateway (similar to Stripe).
5. We are an AUTHORIZED partner/reseller of NMI services. We have over 5,000 active merchants processing credit cards transactions through American Bancard DBA Touchsuite
6. You’ve already approved 2 of our competitors. There is no difference between this plugin and 2 other competitors other than they require and annual fee to use the plugin. (competitors: Paid Memberships Pro and WP Members)
7. We only require the user to open an NMI account with American Bancard DBA Touchsuite
8. To open a merchant account using NMI the user must go through our company which is why we have a link to our website for them to fill out a request for a validation key.
9. The free plugin features never expire and can be used in perpetuity setting up free subscriptions and memberships.
10. To use it for paid memberships you must open an NMI merchant account via American Bancard DBA Touchsuite.

External services

This plugin connects to a third party processor, NMI. The NMI API is used to process credit cards for subscriptions and memberships via NMI payment gateway. All credit card transactions are secure and encrypted via the NMI service. American Bancard DBA Touchsuite is an authorized partner/reseller of NMI services. The plugin enables a visitor to set up one-time and recurring billing for various subscriptions and memberships.
