Optimizely Campaign integrates seamlessly with your store and lets you manage your transactional mail operations in one place. Leverage real-time customer data synchronization to create personalized campaigns and boost conversions.
With this plugin, you can easily select which transactional emails should be sent via Optimizely Campaign and which should use the default mail service. In addition to that, you can add a newsletter form for guest subscribers to any page or post through a custom shortcode provided by the plugin and the submission will be handled via Optimizely Campaign. Newsletter subscribing is also
possible through the WooCommerce registration form and account details form for WooCommerce customers.

To start using the plugin, navigate to the Mail Settings tab and enter your Optimizely SMTP credentials + default
mail service details.
The Optimizely Mail Configuration section sets the mail settings for email events that will be sent through
Optimizely Campaign.
The Default Mail Configuration section sets the mail settings for email events that will be sent through the default
mail service in WordPress. The Default From Email and the Default From Name have initial values and should only be updated if you are certain that
you need to use a different From Email address.
Filling out these settings is necessary to start sending emails through Optimizely Campaign.
Set up your Opt-in Process in Optimizely Campaign and make sure that Confirmation Page URL includes the bmrecipientid
** and **bmrecipientlistid query parameters.
Once the Opt-in Process is set up, go to the Newsletter Settings tab in the Optimizely Campaign plugin page, provide
the necessary information for newsletter processing. The necessary information is a recipient list authorization code
and an opt-in process id from Optimizely Campaign.
After the recipient list information is defined, you can select which data fields from WordPress/WooCommerce are synced to Optimizely Campaign.
Once your SMTP settings are configured, go to the respective WP Core Event Settings, WooCommerce Event Settings
and Other Event Settings tabs and select the event emails you want to send via Optimizely Campaign. The unselected
events will go through the default WordPress mail service.
After configuring the newsletter settings, copy the shortcode provided by the plugin and paste it into any page or post
where you want the newsletter subscription form to appear.
The plugin provides a shortcode that renders a newsletter form.
Description: This shortcode adds a newsletter form to your page or post. The newsletter form is used for the guest subscribers.

Create a new page on your site that will serve as the confirmation page users will be redirected to after confirming
their subscription via email. Ensure the Confirmation Page URL set up in your Optimizely client matches the URL of the
confirmation page set up in your site.
With the newsletter settings, newsletter form and confirmation page in place, visitors to your site can now subscribe
and unsubscribe to your newsletter seamlessly whether they\’re a guest or a WooCommerce customer.
