What the service is and what it is used for:
OpenAI provides artificial intelligence services through their API. The AI Product Description Generator and AI Product Review Summarizer widgets use OpenAI’s API to generate product descriptions and summarize product reviews automatically.
What data is sent and when:
– Product information (name, price, SKU, categories, attributes) – Only when generating product descriptions
– Product reviews (review text, ratings, reviewer names) – Only when summarizing product reviews
– User prompts – Custom prompts and instructions provided in widget settings
– API key – Your OpenAI API key (stored securely in WordPress database, never transmitted to external servers except OpenAI)
When data is sent:
Data is only sent when:
1. A user clicks the “Generate Content” or “Summarize Reviews” button in the Elementor editor
2. The OpenAI API key is properly configured in the plugin settings
3. A valid WooCommerce product is selected in the widget settings
4. The generation request is initiated from the Elementor editor

MailChimp is an email marketing service that provides API endpoints for managing email subscribers and campaigns. The Newsletter widget connects to MailChimp to subscribe users to your email lists when they submit newsletter signup forms.
What data is sent and when:
– Email addresses – Only when users submit newsletter signup forms
– Optional merge fields (name, phone, etc.) – Only if provided by the user in the form
– Tags – Only if configured in the widget settings
– List ID – To identify which MailChimp list to subscribe users to
When data is sent:
Data is only sent when:
1. A user submits a newsletter signup form on your website
2. The MailChimp API key is properly configured in the plugin settings
3. The form submission is valid and passes validation

This plugin does not collect, store, or share any personal data by default. All data remains on your website and is not transmitted to external servers unless you configure the MailChimp or OpenAI integrations.
Data Transmission:
– MailChimp Integration: When configured, only email addresses and optional merge fields from newsletter subscription forms are sent to MailChimp’s secure API endpoint.
– OpenAI Integration: When configured, product information and review data are sent to OpenAI’s API for content generation. This includes product names, descriptions, prices, SKUs, categories, attributes, and review text. OpenAI may use this data to improve their services as outlined in their privacy policy.
Data Storage:
– API keys are stored securely in your WordPress database
– Generated content is stored in your WordPress database as part of the widget settings
– No personal user data is collected or stored by the plugin itself
User Control:
– All external service integrations are optional and must be explicitly configured
– Content generation must be manually triggered by the site administrator
– You can disable AI widgets entirely through the plugin settings
